Steam is giving away a £35 game for free right now, yours to keep forever

With the weekend coming up, Steam has its user base covered with one incredible title being free to grab for a limited time.

It is time to sit down and relax this weekend with the turn-based strategy title Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War.

First released back in 2018, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War is the first turn-based 4X strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

The official synopsis reads: “Gladius Prime was known to Imperial scholars as a planet of archeological interest. During its colonisation ancient relics were found, revealing hints of a shrouded past. But it was more than relics.

Something awakened, an unspeakable horror from an ancient past, and the citizens of Gladius found themselves trapped in a terrible war for survival.”

Players will take on the role of four iconic Warhammer factions: Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Orks or Necrons who each have their own unique skills and abilities. Once selected, a randomly generated world is free to explore with “special features and threatening wildlife” that can crush your troop’s morale.

As well as exploring the world and engaging in battle, players will also have to construct cities, buildings and fortifications to expand your empire as well as produce an army capable of vanquishing your foes.
