GTA 6 Developer Announces Hefty Giveaway You Shouldn't Miss

Rockstar Games are currently giving away some sweet rewards for GTA fans, but you don’t have long to grab them.

As Grand Theft Auto VI’s release slowly edges closer and closer with each passing day, Rockstar Games has decided to reward their most loyal players with a bunch of free stuff.

Of course, there is a catch– but only half of a catch, because you can still earn some stuff without paying a dime.

It’s almost the end of summer, apparently, which can only mean one thing: the GTA Online End of Summer giveaway.

Rockstar Games loves giving away stuff towards the end of August, for whatever reason, and this year is no different. As revealed by the devs themselves in GTA Online, players can currently get some cold, hard cash for doing absolutely nothing.

That’s right, if you log in to GTA Online right this second, you will get one million dollars injected directly into your bank account! I should clarify, the money is fake money, and the fake money is in GTA Online. Rockstar Games is not handing out a million dollars to everyone in the world.

However, if you’re a GTA+ subscriber, you’ll also get an extra one million GTA$. Anyone who signs up for GTA+ before the end of the promotion will get the extra bonus too, regardless of whether or not you’ve been a subscriber before.

So, when does this End of Summer promo end? September 17, of course. Hard to really say when summer ends in the United Kingdom, considering it never really starts, so I appreciate the specificity.

As long as you log in at any point between now and September 17, you’ll earn the free cash automatically. Hopefully that’ll be enough to tide you over until GTA VI’s online mode drops, although we still don’t know if the game will be released alongside GTA Online 2 or not.
