If you are anything like me then you just wait for the perfect excuse to dive into another playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077.
Thanks to its work with Virtuos, CD Projekt RED is still regularly releasing major updates for Cyberpunk 2077 which work to add new cosmetics, cars, quests, features and more.
However, when it comes to story additions, things are pretty much the same which is to be expected from a single-player RPG.
That being said, this has not stopped Cyberpunk 2077’s dedicated modding community from giving players many reasons to return to Night City and that is definitely the case for Deceptious over on Nexus Mods.

Their Fresh Start mod adds a brand-new Lifepath to Cyberpunk 2077 on top of the base options already found in game: Streetkid, Nomad and Corpo.
This brand-new addition adds the ability for V to be both an ex-Corpo and an ex-Nomad and the story begins with them returning to Night City after an undisclosed hiatus.
Not only does this mod add the new Lifepath but it also includes a whole new introduction to the game which takes place during the half-year montage we all know and love.
By being both an ex-Corpo and an ex-Nomad, V will have access to both options during the game including dialogue and choices so you can decide which side to lean into more.
Of course, this leaves the Streetkid Lifepath out of the equation, which just so happens to be my personal favourite, but this is still an exciting way to experience the game from an RPG perspective.
The Fresh Start mod will kick off with Jackie and Misty picking you up at the beginning of the game which, as many fans will know, is a brand-new way to kick off your Night City adventures.
Better yet? It is completely free to download for those who own Cyberpunk 2077 on PC.
So if you want another excuse to boot up Cyberpunk 2077, this epic mod is definitely one to try out.
