Steam $50 free store credit currently available for you to blow on the Steam sale

I'm sure it probably hasn't escaped your attention that there's currently a big Steam sale on. And Steam sales can only ever lead to one thing: spending lots of money on games you may never even play.

This latest Steam sale is absolutely stacked, my friends. Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy are both currently 50 percent off. Monster Hunter World is less than a tenner! It is lunacy.

Before you go in waving your credit card around and paying for Gabe Newell's newest private island (I assume he has a few), you should know that you currently have a chance to grab $50 free store credit. That's $50 you could blow in the sale and live like a damn king.

The Twitter account Free Steam Games is currently hosting a giveaway in which you could net yourself a hefty voucher to spend on whatever you want on Steam. While I'm aware an account called Free Steam Games does sound a bit dodgy, they do competitions like this all the time, and it all seems to be very much above board.

To enter this particular contest, all you have to do is check out the tweet below and follow the steps. It all looks pretty easy. The winner will be announced in seven days, and the Steam sale ends 21 March, so you should have just enough time to claim your store credit and take advantage of the bargains before they're gone. I wouldn't dream of telling you how to spend your money, of course, but Cyberpunk 2077 at half price is a damn fine deal.
