Steam 2024 horror could fill the PT shaped hole in our lives

With a P.T. shaped hole forever in our hearts, this upcoming horror title is guaranteed to fill the void and scare us silly in the process.

Released as an interactive teaser for the game Silent Hills, P.T. by Kojima Productions was a psychological horror game cited as one of the best horror games of all time.

However, after the cancellation of Silent Hills, publisher Konami made the decision to remove P.T. from the PlayStation Store and make it impossible to reinstall for all fans. Since then, players have campaigned to get the title back but the pleas appear to be falling on deaf ears.

However, those who want something reminiscent of P.T. should keep an eye on this upcoming puzzle-adventure horror set to arrive later this year.

Puppet House is a “puzzle-adventure horror with escape room elements”. After a freak ritual creates a killer puppet, the player must take on the role of Detective Rick, who upon learning about missing locals, finds himself inside the ventriloquist's mansion.

The mansion is full of secrets and unimaginable horrors but Rick must face his fears if he wishes to solve the case of Field Town’s missing residents.

“Come and face a demonic puppet that was born through a strange ritual and is now killing anyone who tries to enter the mansion...Will you be able to uncover all the secrets before the evil force gets you?” the official synopsis reads.

Solve the dangerous investigation whilst trying to hold your own against the killer puppet who murders anybody who dares to stop foot inside the mansion. Wander through dark corridors, find evidence and explore the mysterious home as you struggle for survival.

Puppet House is set to launch later this year on Steam.
