If you’re a fan of the iconic Resident Evil series and co-op fun, then you’ll want to check out this new survival horror game.
Whether it’s Capcom’s Resident Evil or Konami’s Silent Hill, some of the scariest moments arrive during times of isolation, hence the name of SEGA’s terrifying Alien: Isolation.
That being said, while tension can be at its highest when isolated, that’s not to say that you can’t be scared with friends, as we’ve seen with the likes of The Outlast Trials and Phasmophobia.

Check out the Scary Cargo trailer below!
Granted, making co-op horror games both scary and fun is no easy task, but when done right, they can be an absolute blast. Hopefully, that will be the case with the new indie horror, developed and published by Nihat Özdemir, Scary Cargo.
“Your mission sounds simple: deliver the cargo and stay alive. But when one of you dies, they might not stay dead,” reads the synopsis of the game. Which sounds similar to how humans killed in Resident Evil Outbreak come back as zombies.

“They’ll look the same. Sound the same and they’ll remember everything: the plan, the route… even you. Trust no one. Finish the job or be finished.”
Scary Cargo is a game that can be played on your lonesome or with three other friends. “OMG, this looks amazing. The mad team sprint looks so cool,” said StarpixelStudios on YouTube.
“Finally a horror game that looks damn scary! I'm already excited to play it,” replied LaLuMexi.
Judging by the cinematic trailer, despite featuring no gameplay, the concept looks fun and feels like it also has hints of Death Stranding and Left 4 Dead 2.

At the time of writing, Scary Cargo does not have a release date but be sure to wishlist it on Steam to be notified of its launch.
With a bit of luck, Scary Cargo will arrive at some point this year, and its gameplay reveal isn't too far away.
