GTA VI is launching later this year, and what an exciting time it’ll be when it’s finally in our hands.

In the meantime though, there are lots of other great games coming out before then, some of which are in early-access right now.

Personally I’m looking forward to the sequel to Ghost Of Tsushima.

The game we’re talking about today is equal parts Grand Theft Auto as it is The Sims, as it’s a life simulation game where you actually play as the character rather than controlling them from above.

It’s called Denizen, a game that’s in early-access on Steam right now and available for you to try yourself.

The game’s description reads: “Make a living for yourself in a city full of opportunity while you meet a variety of locals, explore unique locations, and work your way to the top in this open-world life simulator.”

As said before, the game plays like any open-world title like GTA V, where you can cruise around the city and go inside buildings etc.

The twist is instead of causing chaos your goal is to just…live. Go to work, explore and generally lead a virtual life.

At the time of writing, the game isn't finished just yet so there are a few areas that are lacking, but it offers a lot of content to give you an idea of what the finished product will be.

I’m sure many gamers out there will be familiar with simulation games, but Denizen seemingly sets itself apart by being a culmination of loads of them rather than focusing on a specific area or job.

If this sounds interesting to you, I’d recommend checking the game out on Steam as you should be able to give it a try for yourself.

It has a Mostly Positive rating on the site so it’s definitely worth a look if you’re a fan of simulators.
