Fallout meets Call Of Duty: World At War in grim new game

Fallout meets Call Of Duty: World At War in grim new game

War never changes

On a quest to always find new games that feel familiar yet new to us, we take discovering new games very seriously. One upcoming title that’s caught our eye is a mixture of Fallout and Call of Duty, which, we can all agree, will make for a gripping experience.

Gnarled landscapes ravaged by war are familiar stomping grounds for many of us, especially those of us who refuse to walk away from the allure of Bethesda’s Fallout franchise. With us soon able to walk the boards of Fallout: Miami, there’s still so many places to see before we walk away from the game for good.

See if you've got what it takes in Ratten Reich

This “grim and unforgiving world” we’re soon to find ourselves in is that of Steam’s Ratten Reich, a war that has impacted not just humans but other creatures as well – “rats, mice, roaches and lizards alike” are battling it out to come out on top.

The way in which the story of this worn-torn world unfolds is very reminiscent of Call of Duty: World At World, a classic part of a franchise that’s now been labelled “a joke”. You’ll need to see the battlefield from every angle, customising and honing your units to ensure you walk away the victor. When there’s nothing left to lose, there’s everything to lose, or something along those lines…

Right now, Ratten Reich hasn’t got a firm launch date, just the ambiguous “coming soon” timeframe that makes PC gamers despair. Nevertheless, while we don’t have a fixed date and time just yet, the process of its development so far reveals a promising game that’ll scratch that war game itch some of you have.

If you’ve ever wondered who would win in a fight against rats, mice, roaches and lizards, this is the game that will give you the answer you seek. But at what cost, my friends, at what cost.
