Star Wars as a Fallout-like open-world RPG isn’t something we’d have really thought about, but it works surprisingly well based on this new release.
Star Wars games have taken many shapes and forms over the years, from the hack-and-slash action of The Force Unleashed to open-world narrative adventures like Star Wars Outlaws.
Take a look at Star Wars Outlaws below
It’s even dabbled in the soulslike genre with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

However what if you took the Star Wars galaxy and turned it into an open-world RPG similar to Fallout?
The answer is you’d get Starfield, or at a push The Outer Worlds, but we’re talking about something more iconic.
Enter the Star Wars Open Worlds project, which is exactly what it says on the tin, a project dedicated to getting your feet on some of Star Wars’ most famous planets and seeing it from your own perspective.
There are currently 12 planets to explore, and you can make your own custom character to see them with, so there’s really no excuse to not give it a go if you’re a Star Wars fan.

Fallout fans will get a kick out of it too, because it was also made with Fallout: New Vegas, which is why you might spot a few similarities with the spin-off game.
Other standout features include “An Engaging Choice-Driven Story, Fully Voice-Acted Characters, An RPG-Style Skill System, A New Crafting System, Vast Arrays of Weapons, Multiple Factions, New Companions, Bounty Hunting, Side Quests.”
It sounds like the ultimate Star War game, and you can also argue it to be a new Fallout game as well.
You can play it for free on PC provided you meet the hardware requirements, and have a valid copy of Fallout: New Vegas, so take a look.
