A PlayStation 5 gamer discovers a hidden feature of the DualSense controller that we all probably missed.
The PlayStation 5 is a fantastic console that provides some of the best experiences of this generation, offering greater levels of immersion in digitised worlds, super-crisp graphics, and performance for the video games we love.
Arguably, gaming has never been better from a technical perspective than it is today, with indie studios blurring the lines of what could be considered a AAA or low-budget release. Simply put, it’s a fantastic time to be a gamer, despite Sony enforcing yet another PS5 price hike.
Thankfully, there is a simple way to tackle the latest PlayStation 5 price hike, and it’s been right under our noses the whole time.
Aside from the fantastic video games and streaming apps, the PlayStation 5 has a ton of features that we might not know about. Such as being able to save controller presets, so we don’t have to worry about changing them in-game. You can even give your PlayStation 5 games a big graphics boost.

However, there is another handy PlayStation 5 feature that we might not know about, as brought to our attention by Reddit user Cooldude-Reddit.
“Am I the only one who didn’t know about this menu?” they asked. The Redditor explains that when pressing the Triangle button on the DualSense controller when in a game's purchase page, it reveals details of its in-game settings.
For example, it shows the controller re-mapping options, analogue stick sensitivity and inversion, text and audio details, difficulty settings and more. It’s a handy trick that provides some additional details on a game you’re considering purchasing.
“I just discovered this yesterday. I’m glad I’m not the only one,” replied Bearded_Dad_Bod59.
“I had no clue about this either. Nice touch,” praised Due_Addendum4854.
“Certainly got past me; thanks for the heads-up,” said thekarateadult.

Yet, as various other members of the Reddit thread pointed out, there’s a message at the bottom of the PlayStation Store screen that says to press Triangle to view the accessibility features.
“I'm assuming that no one has ever looked at the bottom of the screen where it informs you of the menu controls. It literally says Triangle for Accessibility Features,” revealed KaidenSnow.
As my wife always says, “Unless something hits me in the face, I won’t see it.”
