Depending on who you ask, being a PlayStation Plus subscriber can either be the best or the worst thing in the world depending on which games are added to its library each month.
However, there is no denying that it does save you money in the long run if you are an avid PlayStation gamer.
For a set price each month (or yearly), members are able to access a large library of PlayStation games as well benefit from day one releases and new monthly game additions which are added at no extra cost.
There are different subscription tiers, each with varying pricing, and so members can decide how much access and games they will be eligible for.

However, one user over on r/PlayStationPlus has recently confused fellow subscribers by announcing a cancellation of their personal subscription.
“I realised PS Plus eats up way too much of my time, so I’m planning to cancel the subscription once it expires,” they shared.
“260 hours in 3.5 months. It is insane! Basically a part-time job I didn’t get paid for. Once PS Plus expires, I’m cancelling and finally putting those hours into something that actually pays off, like career and life.”
It is a bold statement to say the least and the user even shared a spreadsheet of all of the games they have been able to play for free courtesy of PS Plus over the past few months.

As you can imagine, fellow members had their opinions.
“Bro’s getting too much value for money so he’s having to cancel rather than managing his time better,” the top comment reads.
User MissingScore777 agreed, adding, “On my deathbed I'm not going to think, 'I wish I did more work/focused on my career'. Not a chance in hell. I might wish I had more time to play games, read books, socialise with friends and family, etc.”
Of course, it is a respectable decision but it does go to show just how useful having a PlayStation Plus subscription really is.

Well, if you don’t mind wasting the time that is.
