PlayStation Plus Users Urged Not To Sleep On Hit Remaster

PlayStation Plus users have been urged not to sleep on this highly recommended remaster.

Over the years, at least during the early days, very few comic book adaptations translated to the world of video games. However, when it comes to Marvel’s Spider-Man, this property has fared better than most.

Whether it’s Spider-Man on the original PlayStation or Spider-Man 2 on the sixth console generation, Marvel’s friendly neighbourhood hero has been generous when it comes to offering top-quality video games.

In the case of 2004’s Spider-Man 2, this was a particular rarity because not only was it a fantastic video game inspired by a comic book series, but it just so happened to be a movie tie-in, and we all know how movie tie-ins rarely hit the mark.

One other successful video game starring the charming Peter Parker is 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, developed by Insomniac Games, originally released on the PlayStation 4, and was later remastered for PS5 in 2022.

“Is Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 a much better experience compared to the original game on the base model PS4?” asked Redditor user Delicious_Maize9656.

“I already played it on PS4, but I’m wondering if it’s worth replaying on PS5 since it’s available on PS Plus.”

To no surprise whatsoever, fellow members of the Reddit thread were keen to recommend the game.

“Better graphics, better resolution, 60 frames-per-second, and ray tracing,” replied Safe-Monitor-8113. “And all the DLC.”

“You'll notice the differences; it’s an improvement visually,” said EmSoLow.

“The graphic overhaul is amazing,” exclaimed Kame_Saiyan. “I also noticed a bit of a difference in the feeling of swinging while playing.”

“I'll play it again. I finished the PS4 version like five years ago, so a replay is in order,” declared Schwarzer_Exe.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is out now on PC and PlayStation 5. If you subscribe to PS Plus, you should play it ASAP.
