Perhaps now more than ever, this current console generation has some of the most beautiful games that you’ll ever play and one of those games is available for free on PlayStation Plus right now.

Well, when I say “free”, you still have to pay a subscription, of course, but you get what I mean. So what is that beautiful game with a stunning open world, it’s none other than Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut from Sucker Punch Productions.

Check out the Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut trailer below!

When Ghost of Tsushima was originally released for the PlayStation 4 in 2020, it not only became one of the best-looking games of its generation but also one of the best in terms of gameplay, audio design and of course, its open world. Like seriously, the PS4 version of this game still looks better than most new-gen titles today.

Then in 2021, Ghost of Tsushima arrived with a PlayStation 5 port that looked and performed even better than the year prior. What’s more, it also came with the Iki Island expansion which is available on both PS5 and PS4.

“Set in 1274 on Tsushima Island, the last samurai, Jin Sakai, must master a new fighting style, the way of the Ghost, to defeat the Mongol forces and fight for the freedom and independence of Japan,” reads the synopsis of the game.

If for whatever reason you’re yet to play Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on either PS5 or PS4 and you subscribe to the PlayStation Plus Premium tier, then you’re in luck because you can not only download the full game but you also have the option to stream it to save that precious hard drive space.

Ghost of Tsushima: Directors Cut is available now. So what are you waiting for? Go and download it already, because it’s an absolute banger.
