It's not often I get down on my knees and beg you to play a video game, dear reader, but I cannot recommend one of PlayStation Plus' latest free games enough. It is a genuine 10/10 RPG that I believe everyone should play.

There are hundreds of brilliant PlayStation Plus games right now for subscribers on the Extra and Premium tier that are all worth your attention. But with hundreds of games and thousands of hours of gameplay across them all, it can be a little daunting to know where to start.

I humbly suggest you start with this banger:

Yes, there are a great many free games on PlayStation Plus Extra, but none of them are quite as worthy of your time as Undertale. I cannot stress enough how amazing this game is, so much so that I'm probably already preaching to the choir. I mean, Undertale is hardly a cult favourite - it's a bonafide critical darling.

"Undertale should at least be attempted by everyone who hasn't yet played it," wrote one user on the PlayStation Plus subreddit. Yep. They are absolutely correct.

Undertale is widely - and rightly - regarded as one of the all-time greats. It actually has a place in GAMINGbible's top 100 games of all time, though I'd argue it's not high enough. Undertale is a revolutionary RPG, and underneath its crude aesthetic hides one of the most beautifully written video games ever made. Everything about it works to create a lasting impression that will remain with you forever. It's currently being offered to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, and I would urge you to take a look at it before it's gone from the service.

Elsewhere, PlayStation Plus subscribers looking for something slightly more conventional can get their hands on 11 Assassin's Creed games and a whole bunch of Far Cry games. There really is a little something for everyone.
