Sony has announced the latest line-up of free games that will be hitting PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.

The new free games coming to PlayStation Plus were announced today, coming to the platform early next week.

Members who are subscribed to the Extra or Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus will gain access to these games when they drop.

Let's dive into the games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium this month.

PlayStation Plus Extra Games (May 2026)

The current line-up of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra in May 2026 includes the following:

  • Star Wars Outlaws | PS5
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 | PS4
  • Bramble: The Mountain King | PS5, PS4
  • The Thaumaturge | PS5
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn | PS5
  • Broken Sword – Shadows of the Templar: Reforged | PS5, PS4
  • Enotria: The Last Song Standard Edition | PS5

There are some big picks here this month to choose from.

Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2 are two big open world games which should provide you with plenty of long playtime, essentially making sure that that PlayStation Plus subscription pays for itself.

Meanwhile, Bramble: The Mountain King and Broken Sword are two rather excellent adventure games, albeit on a much smaller scope.

Finally, The Thaumaturge is a great game for anyone who enjoys isometric RPGs.

Overall, it seems to be a very decent month for players who like RPGs or open-ended games.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for May includes:

🐎 Red Dead Redemption 2
🌲 Bramble: The Mountain King
🕯️ The Thaumaturge

…and more. Full details: https://t.co/oDzxFUVmj8 pic.twitter.com/3CaPCKiW38

PlayStation Plus Premium Games (May 2026)

Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus Premium will also be getting the following game in May 2026:

  • Time Crisis | PS5, PS4

We had previously heard about Time Crisis coming to PlayStation Plus earlier this month when it was announced to be coming to the platform later in May.

The full lineup will be added to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on 19 May.
