Sony has confirmed the latest free games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in April 2026, and it might be fair to say that it’s a great month indeed.

Earlier this month, we got confirmation of the new additions coming to PlayStation Plus Essential, all of which are available to play right now. Let’s just say, it was a fantastic month for globe-trotting adventurers and fans of soulslike titles.

However, we now know the games that'll be coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers later this month, and it includes some absolute bangers.

Playstation Plus Extra Games for April 2026

As confirmed by Sony, the PlayStation Plus Extra additions include some fantastic titles, such as a major first-party release and some awesome third-party delights.

Coming to PS Plus Extra this month are:

  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (PS5)
  • The Crew Motorfest (PS5/PS4)
  • Football Manager 26 Console (PS5)
  • Warriors: Abyss (PS5/PS4)
  • Squirrel with a Gun (PS5)
  • The Casting of Stone Frank (PS5)
  • Monster Train (PS5)

Playstation Plus Premium Games for April 2026

As usual, PS Plus Premium subscribers get everything included in the Essential and Extra tiers; however, they also get additional retro games from a bygone PlayStation era.

Coming to the PS Plus Classics Catalogue this month, we have:

  • Wild Arms 4 (PS5/PS4)

We Scored This Month's Headliner Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered 9/10

“You may not have thought it possible, but this version of Aloy’s world is even more beautiful, with Nixxes’ subtle attention to detail resulting in a space that feels even more immersive and brimming with life,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate in her review. “When you can upgrade for just £10, there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t.”

When Will These PS Plus Games Be Available?

Typically, the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are available to play on the third Tuesday of every month. So in this case, these games will be available on Tuesday, 21 April 2026.

Be sure to check back with GAMINGbible next month to see what else is coming to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium in May 2026.
