It rolls around so quickly.

PlayStation has confirmed the latest batch of games which will be landing on PlayStation Plus’ extra and premium tiers next week, on Tuesday 21 January to be precise.

I have to say, it’s a pretty decent line-up to kick off the year which was perhaps needed after the previously announced essential tier offerings failed to dazzle.

To bring you up to speed, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe are all available to grab now on the essential tier.

It’s interesting that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is the month’s headliner considering that this is the same month that Rocksteady is shutting down the game’s online mode, ending post-launch content and support.

I would recommend The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe though but if you can stretch your budget to an extra or premium tier subscription, you’ll have far more choice when it comes to picking your next play.

With that being said, allow me to unveil the 11 free titles that’ll be landing on the service this month.

PlayStation users have Ghost of Yōtei to look forward to this year.

Let’s start off with the extra tier additions. You can soon enjoy God of War Ragnarök, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand, SD Gundam Battle Alliance, Sayonara Wild Hearts, ANNO: Mutationem, Orcs Must Die 3, Citizen Sleeper, and Poker Club.

As for the games joining the premium tier, those are Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Medievil II.

There are certainly less titles joining this month than we’ve previously seen but with a headliner like God of War Ragnarök, you can perhaps see why Sony pared back elsewhere.

That is a huge win for subscribers as it’s been ages since a major first-party exclusive landed on the service.

All of the above games will join the service next week on 21 January.
