Sony just unveiled a brand new piece of PlayStation hardware that you will absolutely not be able to own, because the method to actually procure one is probably something 99.99% of you aren’t going to be willing to entertain.
Thank you to PlayStation LifeStyle’s Zarmena Khan for the original source!
If you’re a fan of pretty looking, highly exclusive PlayStation 5 controllers then I have some great news for you (that I am immediately going to follow up with some terrible news).

As revealed on the official PlayStation Saudi Arabia Twitter account, a new “Jewel Green” PlayStation 5 DualSense controller is on its way… but you should probably let me explain the method behind actually getting your hands on it before you get too excited.
To snag one of these for yourself, you’ll have to attend the eSports World Cup in Saudi Arabia from July 10th onwards. For most of us, that’s probably not a feasible endeavour just to get ahold of a unique looking PlayStation 5 controller.
Firstly, you’d have to make the trip to Saudi Arabia. Gonna wager that would cost a pretty penny for any of you outside of West Asia.
Then, you’d have to procure a ticket to the eSports World Cup. That’s gonna set you back roughly £200, by the way.

And after all that, it would seem that you still have to actually purchase the controller at the event itself. I can’t find any information on whether it’s included in the price of your ticket or not, but I’d wager it isn’t.
Alternatively, you could just wait for one of these Jewel Green DualSense controllers to just pop up on eBay. But when you think about the limited quantity of them and the ridiculous restrictions tied to actually procuring them, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d end up paying something close to a grand.
Imagine doing all of that, and then it just gets stick drift anyway.
