PlayStation Unveils Gorgeous New Console, Available This Month

PlayStation has unveiled some gorgeous new hardware that you can preorder very soon, tying in to one of the year's most anticipated releases.

Say what you will about PlayStation but one thing you can't deny is it makes some gorgeous looking hardware. Xbox occasionally comes out with something beautiful too but mostly specialises in nice looking controllers.

PlayStation on the other hand delivers the goods when it comes to new hardware, like the famous Astro Bot controller and the 30th anniversary PlayStation bundles modelled after the company's first console.

Now, if you're a Ghost Of Tsushima fan and you're excited for the new sequel, Ghost Of Yōtei, you're hopefully going to love what's been prepared for its launch.

PlayStation has shown off some beautifully designed hardware, both console and controller, to pair with the game's upcoming launch and you can order them very soon should you wish to do so.

You can pick up a brand-new Ghost Of Yōtei themed PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Pro, in either gold or black. The design is that of Mount Yōtei, which is also featured on the game's boxart and will likely be a location you can visit in the game.

If you already own a PlayStation 5 you can instead purchase a gold or black console cover instead to slip over your existing one.

Additionally there are two controllers, also in either gold or black, featuring the game's protagonist Atsu.

All in all the designs are pretty good and it's nice to have the option between either gold or black depending on your preference.

Ghost Of Yōtei comes out on 2 October and these new hardware additions will go up for preorder on 4 September, in just a few days from the time of writing. They'll make some fine additions to your collection.
