If you’re also keen to get a second controller and some extra games, we’ve not only dug up the best deals on PS5 console bundles, but also the lowest prices on PlayStation’s go-to official accessories and upcoming games like Grand Theft Auto VI and Forza Horizon 6.
For gamers in the UK, here are the very best PS5 deals you can find right now as of 21 October, 2026.
The cheapest PS5 prices in the UK
The lowest of all: PlayStation-Refurbished consoles
Advert
For a PS5 that’s as close to new as it can get, the best price you can currently get is £429.99 for the “Certified Refurbished” Slim Digital Edition, directly from PlayStation.
We normally wouldn’t recommend refurbished consoles from retailers, but we’ve made an exception since these are from PlayStation directly with their own dedicated SKU and box. Stated to at most come with ‘minor cosmetic imperfections’, PlayStation puts these systems through a ‘rigorous recerification process that includes full testing’ so that it’s in the same working order as a brand new console — saving you around £90, depending on the version.
However, for an extra £19, you can buy the refurbished disc drive PS5 console for £449.99, saving you around £55 compared to buying the Digital Edition and separately buying the add-on Disc Drive for £69.99.
Best price for a brand-new PS5
If you draw the line at ‘refurbished’ no matter which brand it’s from, and you simply want the best price on a brand-new PS5, the lowest price you can pay right now is either £519.99 for the 825GB Digital Edition or £569.99 for the 1TB version with a disc drive.
For only £50 extra, we’d definitely recommend the 1TB disc drive PS5, as you’re not only saving £19.99 compared to buying an add-on disc drive à la carte, you’re also getting an extra 175GB of storage on top. Plus, having a disc drive means you can save even more money further down the line by being able to get better prices for physical games — instead of just being locked to PS Store prices.
Yes, Sony is ending production of discs for new PlayStation games from January 2028 onwards, but older games you can catch up on will still be in production; having a disc drive means you can enjoy watching DVDs, Blu-Rays, and 4K UHD Blu-Rays on your PS5, too.
Save money on an extra controller
For PlayStation 5 newcomers who’ve got a friend or family member they’re expecting to play with, PlayStation’s 5 percent-off sale also includes the PS5 plus two DualSense Controller Bundle for £609.99.
For this price, you’re getting the 1TB disc drive console, one DualSense included as standard, and then another DualSense on top.
An individual white DualSense controller is currently selling for £64.99. So, compared to the £569.99 price for a 1TB disc drive on its own, this bundle price is saving you an additional £24.99 altogether.
Best prices on official PS5 accessories
The official PlayStation site’s 5 percent off hardware makes it lead the way in PS5 console prices, but UK retailers have landed the best current deals on official PlayStation 5 accessories if you know where to look — most notably a DualSense controller for under £60.
DualSense controllers for under £60
With 8 percent off its £64.99 RRP price, you can buy a white PS5 DualSense controller for as little as £59.82 at Amazon UK, or £59.99 for a black DualSense controller.
Like the consoles, prices for the PS5 controllers have gone up massively over the years, but price tracker camelcamelcamel confirms this is the lowest price we’ve seen since a very brief dip last month.
£10 off the Pulse Elite Headset
PlayStation’s official PS5 wireless headset, normally selling for a penny shy of £130, can now be grabbed at Smyths for £119.99 in white or £119.99 in black.
If you’re not the type who likes shopping around a dozen different gaming audio brands for the right headset, the Pulse Elite is the definitive go-to for delivering top-tier 3D audio when playing on PS5 and PC.
£25 off the Pulse Earbuds
The Pulse Elite headset may be sold out at Amazon, but you can buy the PS5’s Pulse Explore wireless earbuds for as low as £154 at 14 percent off the pair in white or black. As also confirmed on camelcamelcamel, that’s the lowest price these buds have seen on the site yet.
These earbuds also work with your PS5 and PC as the Elite headset does, but the smaller form factor of the Explore means you can more easily take them on the go to use with your phone, too.
20% off the official DualSense Charging Station
The PS5 console comes with a USB-C cable to charge your controller, but it’s not very tidy or practical — making the official DualSense Charging Station now that it’s only £19.99 at Amazon UK, thanks to a £5 price cut.
With that 20% price cut, you’re buying a proper charging dock that props up your DualSense controller for charging when you’re not using your PS5, or powering up your main controller whilst you use your spare.
Best prices on huge games you can pre-order right now
If you’re indeed buying your first PS5 so you’re ready to play Grand Theft Auto 6, you can buy the game right now for only £64.99, alongside a bunch of other new and upcoming games; luckily, we’ve shopped around and found that the best prices are as follows:
- GTA 6 — £64.99 (£5 off) at Amazon UK
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 — £57.99 (£12 off) at Amazon UK
- EA Sports FC 27 — £58.99 (£11 off) at Amazon UK
- Forza Horizon 6 — £54.99 (£5.04 off) at Amazon UK
- Toy Story: Retro Roundup! + Toy Story 3 Complete Edition Double Pack — £34.99 (£5 off) at Amazon UK
