PlayStation announces free store credit you can grab for a limited time

Free store credit = free games

For those unable to access a PlayStation Plus subscription, Sony’s latest loyalty programme has you covered.

Called PlayStation Stars, this free-to-join loyalty scheme awards members with points simply by playing select titles, completing in-game challenges and making purchases via the PS Store to name just a few.

Check out the launch trailer for PlayStation Stars below!

In turn, points can be exchanged for digital collectibles and free store credit which can eventually rack up to see you able to grab a new release for free.

That is why members should not miss out on some free store credit available for a limited time. All you have to do to earn it is play one of the following titles: Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, Gotham Knights, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morale or GigaBash.

All of these games are currently available on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and playing any of them will reward you with 75 points.

Additionally, PlayStation Stars members can also check out any of the games available in the PS Plus monthly game lineup. This month it includes SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4. Again this will net you 75 points.

Last but not least, there are digital collectibles available for Dredge as well as Destiny 2’s upcoming The Final Shape expansion. Simply playing the latter when it releases on June 4 will grant you with the collectible item for free.

One incentive that will get you earning those points is through booting up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition this month. Doing so will reward you with 50 points just by achieving the “Getting Started” trophy in-game.

Altogether, these incentives will reward you with around 200 points which is nothing to shake your head at.
