If you’re thinking of upgrading to a PS5, now’s the time to do so, as this latest deal packs the new PS5 Slim with a free copy of Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora.

Ubisoft has branched out from its usual IPs of Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry to tackle a new world, Avatar. Released yesterday, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora is a first-person shooter with some third-person gameplay mixed in, where you play as one of the Na'vi and protect Pandora from human invaders.

The deal is currently being offered via Very, and will secure you a PS5 Slim bundled in with Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, for the low price of £499. Normally this would cost £534, and given how both products are brand-new for December, this is an offer you really can’t grumble at.

The PS5 Slim is Sony’s latest variant of its new-gen console and boasts a slightly smaller size but with the same processing power to really crank up the performance of the latest games. Like the base model fans can choose a version with or without a disc drive, though if they regret their all-digital purchase they can buy a disc drive add-on which can be easily affixed to their console.

Sony has confirmed that once stock of the original PS5 has run out, the Slim version will be the only one sold going forward.

So if you fancy upgrading to prepare for next year’s releases, or want to treat a friend or family member to a new PS5 for Christmas, this is a deal worth considering.

That being said it won’t last forever, so best get it ordered before you miss out on the discount.
