PlayStation users can grab a $30 freebie right now, no strings attached

Time for a PlayStation freebie

Who doesn’t love a freebie? Especially a freebie that gives you access to some brilliant entertainment with no strings attached.

PlayStation has announced that it has “been a minute” and is reintroducing its free trial of Apple TV.

While you're here, you should check out our review of the Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree.

All you need to do is redeem the offer before 22 September and you can enjoy three months of full access to Apple TV for free.

You’ll need an Apple ID, which is also free to set up, and of course, an active internet connection. Then you’ll be able to watch some great TV shows through the Apple TV app right there on your PlayStation.

Take it from me, even if you only watch a few things on there, this is worth the time. To be honest, it’s worth it just for Severance, which has to be one of the best pieces of TV I’ve watched for a while.

But then you also have Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, for if you’re a fan of Godzilla stomping on things, or Masters of the Air, which has a star-studded cast.

There’s no pressure to continue with an Apple subscription once the three months are up unless you desperately want to keep up with the shows released.

One thing to note, if you took advantage of this offer previously, you won’t be able to do it a second time.

There is an app for both PS4 and PS5, so it won’t matter which generation you’re in, you can still claim the offer and enjoy the deal.

Three months of Apple TV is valued at $30, so it’s quite a bonus to be snagging it for nothing, and there’s more than enough to watch over those months as all Apple shows are exclusive to the platform and can’t be seen elsewhere.

But seriously, watch Severance, you won’t regret it.
