Last year wasn’t the most jam-packed for the PlayStation 5, but it did include the release of the fantastic Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

We know that a New Game+ update is on the way very soon, and if you’ve completed all the game’s side quests, it’s clear to see that several DLCs are being teased too. Hopefully, it won’t be too long until we come face to face with Carnage. In our review, we wrote, “It’s hard not to come away from my time with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 grinning from ear-to-ear. This is an amazing fantasy come to life and realised like never before. Insomniac Games has crafted yet another heartfelt Spider-Man story bursting with twists, turns, and show-stopping spectacle.”

Given that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a 15 to 20 hour experience though, you’ve likely completed all that it has to offer. Well, if that’s you and you’ve been left with a craving for something of a similar ilk, you may want to hop on over to PlayStation Plus.

Take a look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in action below.

While I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’re underrated, you don’t hear very much chatter about inFAMOUS Second Son and inFAMOUS First Light these days. Before Ghost of Tsushima came along, Sucker Punch Productions were hard at work on the inFAMOUS franchise and despite Second Son and First Light being a decade old this year, they are still well worth diving into.

inFAMOUS Second Son sees players control a superpowered protagonist (Are you seeing the Marvel’s Spider-Man connection now?) by the name of Delsin Rowe who is able to utilise these abilities to traverse around the city of Seattle while fighting the Department of Unified Protection. First Light, on the other hand, is a standalone game that focuses on Second Son character Abigail ‘Fetch’ Walker.

Second Son is easily my favourite of the inFAMOUS entries and scored a very respectable 80 on Metacritic upon release, whereas First Light dipped to 73. It’s Second Son’s traversal that’ll appeal to Marvel’s Spider-Man fans and given that both games are included in PlayStation Plus’ extra tier, there’s no reason not to give these games a whirl if you’re an existing subscriber.
