It has been a few days now since Rockstar almost broke the internet by shadow-dropping the second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.

It was long awaited, to say the least, with the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI having dropped in December 2023 - and considering this is perhaps the most anticipated game of all time, fans were definitely eager for new information.

Check out the second official trailer for GTA VI below!

Luckily, they now have it in spades as alongside the brand-new trailer, Rockstar also updated its website with an official page dedicated to GTA VI, consisting of information about our new characters, the map, and even the addition of 70+ screenshots to analyse to our heart’s content.

However, the excitement did not stop there as PlayStation users soon noticed that Grand Theft Auto VI has now been listed on the official PlayStation Store.

Coming to the PlayStation 5, the listing reveals that the Rockstar title will launch on 26 May, 2026 and is available to add to wishlists.

However, it has still omitted one of the biggest questions that fans have been asking: how much will it be?

With just a year to go until GTA VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, there is still plenty of time to find out but seeing the brand-new official artwork on our consoles for the first time is definitely building the hype.

As for the second official trailer, it gave us just under three-minutes of non-stop action as viewers got to learn more about protagonists Jason and Lucia and get an in-depth look at the state of Leonida.

Hardcore fans have already been analysing the trailer and have noticed that the map is set to be bigger than we all thought and we are set to get a whole lot of exciting side activities that rival those found in previous Grand Theft Auto instalments.

We may not hear from Rockstar for a while now but it is safe to say that fans are placated for the time being and are as excited as ever to dive into Grand Theft Auto VI as of next May.
