Despite no warning, Rockstar released the second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI yesterday, marking the first look at the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto title since the first trailer was dropped in December 2023.

Featuring just under three-minutes of non-stop action and proving that nobody is doing it quite like them, Rockstar gave us another in-depth look at Vice City and surrounding areas, as well as more of protagonists, Jason and Lucia.

However, we also got to see a lot more this time around, including a hint at some of the side activities that we may or may not get to experience.

Careful analysis of the GTA VI trailer hints at basketball, fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, dirt biking, swimming, exercise, litter picking, martial arts, jet skiing, and a whole lot more becoming playable activities throughout the game.

Of course, side activities have not yet been confirmed or fully explored but it seems as though Rockstar wouldn’t include a look at these if they didn’t feature in the end product.

Not only that but the trailer hints at players being able to explore multiple states and not just Leonida as was originally suspected.

If this is the case, it makes sense that Rockstar has increased the amount of side activities usually found in a Grand Theft Auto title as the map will have to feel a lot more interactive.

Add on top what looks like an in-game PlayStation 5, or maybe even a PS6, in the trailer and it seems as though we will be sinking a whole lot of hours into GTA VI when it launches next May.
