I still can’t quite believe it.
Yesterday, Rockstar Games finally dropped Grand Theft Auto VI’s long-awaited second trailer; it didn’t feature anything in the way of obvious gameplay, but I’m not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
It was only last week that Rockstar announced GTA VI’s delay, revealing that the game will launch on 26 May 2026.

It’s with that in mind that I didn’t expect a trailer for many, many months.
I suppose that Rockstar is hoping to remind Take-Two’s investors that despite the delay, everything is still peachy keen ahead of May’s earnings call.
There’s so much to unpack in the trailer.
Eagle-eyed fans have already spotted a returning legacy character, but it’s the game’s scale that I want to address.

Rockstar has outlined the game’s key in-game locations on its new official GTA VI website, giving us an idea of just how enormous the map will be.
It looks as if it’s going to exceed our expectations though as GTA VI won’t just have multiple Leonida locations for us to explore; it seems as if there’s going to be more than one state.
Watch that new trailer below.
As spotted by Twitter user bruh6269, a car plate was featured in the trailer that mentioned the state of Gloriana.

As you’ll likely know, GTA VI is set within Leonida, a fictionalised version of Florida.
Well, it’s believed that Gloriana is a version of the real-life neighbouring Georgia.
Now you may be thinking, ‘Kate, just because an NPC has driven across state lines, it doesn’t mean we will.’
Oh but the plot thickens, my friend.

Mount Kalaga National Park is one of the game’s confirmed locations, and many online have already pointed out that it shares a striking resemblance to Georgia’s Providence Canyon State Park.
Of course, it would be nice to have an official answer on this but all signs point to us having an even larger in-game area to explore than we thought possible.
