You can grab three awesome first-person shooter games on PlayStation right now for under $3 each, but you need to act fast, because this huge discount won’t be around forever.

The PlayStation Summer Sale is now live, and it's packed full of bargains whether you want to bag a AAA game, a long-awaited expansion or, as in the case of this article, a fantastic bundle for an absolute steal with these gems.

The bundle in question is the Metro Saga Bundle, which includes 4A Games’ remasters of Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro Exodus Gold Edition, and it currently costs just £4.99/$8.99, reduced from £49.99/$59.99.

While both of the first games are remasters of the PS3 titles, playable on modern PlayStation consoles, the most recent entry, 2019’s Metro Exodus, not only received a new-gen update on PS5 in 2021, but it also includes its three expansions.

How much value does the Metro Saga Bundle have?

If you were to buy the Metro Redux bundle (which just includes the first two games), it currently costs a generous £3.74/$4.49 instead of £24.99/$29.99. However, as great as that price is, you might as well pick up the Saga Bundle for a little extra, which includes the third game and all of its expansions.

As for the third game, more specifically the Gold Edition, at full price it costs £34.99/$39.99. So if you always fancied checking these games out, or perhaps are interested in replaying the enhanced versions, the Metro Saga Bundle at £4.99/$8.99 is an absolute steal. Especially when you consider it works out to be just £1.66/$2.99 per game (and the DLC).

What does the community say about the Metro trilogy?

“Even though this game is pretty old now, it still looks absolutely amazing,” said Steam user ShahZan on Metro 2033 Redux. “The post-apocalyptic vibe in this is just unmatched.” Metro Redux 2033 Redux is rated as “Very Positive” from over 28,660 user reviews.

“I bought this game and Metro 2033 Redux in the summer sale while having no idea what the games were about, and I'll be damned,” wrote Cort on Metro Last Light Redux. “This game and Metro series is such an absolute masterpiece in post-apocalyptic storytelling.” Metro Last Light Redux is also rated “Very Positive” on Steam from over 20,700 reviews.

“Amazing game, I loved Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, but Exodus finished it just perfectly. I could not have imagined it any better. The Metro series has got to be one of the best series out there,” declared Tal'darim. Metro Exodus also has a “Very Positive" rating from over 34,450 user reviews.

How long is this discount available for?

Luckily, you do have time to grab the Metro Saga Bundle for this silly price, because the PlayStation Summer Sale doesn't come to an end until July 29, 2026. You don’t have forever though, so it might be worth picking it up sooner rather than later, just in case it slips your mind.

Luckily for Steam user Tal'darim, Metro Exodus isn't the end of this story, because a fourth game, Metro 2039, is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2026.
