Undertale is back. Yes, that’s right - it’s back with an unofficial remaster that makes a lot of great changes to an already fantastic game.

The cultural impact of Undertale was massive. Let’s all remember that time the YouTuber MatPat gave a copy of the game to the Catholic Church, and it’s fanbase is still growing today.

Take a look at Undertale below, a weird game but one rich in character, lore and gameplay.

Now the game has been given a makeover through a remaster that hasn’t been made by Toby Fox, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good.

Titled Undertale Plus, you can see it in action through a YouTube trailer that shares some of the improvements hitting the game soon.

One of the big changes is the injection of colour into the models, which is very weird and difficult to get used to but it’s cool nonetheless. Seeing Sans and Papyrus in their actual colours is still a bit cursed though,

The other major change is the game is now a customisable experience, meaning you can tweak and change just about everything to give you the type of playthrough you’d like, whether that be cranking up the challenge or keeping things smooth and simple.

There are funnier changes you can make to the game as well, it’s not all serious, and it does the intended job of giving you more freedom over your next playthrough.

In fact, you could probably get quite a few playthroughs out of the remaster if you’re a hardcore fan of the game, so it’s worth keeping an eye on if that’s the case.

As for when you’ll be able to try Undertale Plus for yourself, there’s currently no official release date but it is promised to be coming soon, so just sit tight for an update I suppose.
