The Witcher 3 just got a total graphics overhaul you can download now

White Orchard has never looked so pretty

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a stunning game, few will deny. However, while its aesthetic can still impress, it’s starting to look a little tired.

If you want to play The Witcher 3 with a total graphical overhaul, we know just the mod to help.

Witcher 3 Total Graphics overhaul White Orchard’ might be a mouthful to say, but it’s easy on the eyes.

Designed by Shirr0, "this mod aims to overhaul trees, grasses (vegetation), as well as landscape of White Orchard.”

Although it won’t completely change your experience like the first-person mode download, it will improve it. At least visually.

Oh, look at Geralt kicking butt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The changes included are as follows:

  • Less trees in some areas so that you can see far in the distance.
  • Changed some landscapes and trees
  • Added fog and clouds
  • Added moons
  • Added pollen (more) to various different locations.
  • Added Nilfgaardian ships
  • Added waterfall

“Everything looks good,” commented one satisfied customer, before adding, “But I think that it would be nice to remove the bee hives since they float on the map.”

This PC mod, while offering a revamp, still feels like a work in progress, and as such, issues may occur.

Nevertheless, for those who want to see White Orchard stripped back to reveal the beauty we previously missed, this one is definitely for you.

Elsewhere, another comment reads, “I understand what you're trying to do, it needs a little more work, but great contribution.”

Should you prefer a mood with more meat on its bones, so to speak, ‘The Witcher 3: Eternal Hunt’ will deliver that and then some. Best of all, this new expansion is free to download.

We’ve still got quite the wait ahead of us before The Witcher 4 launches. Nevertheless, there’s always something new to do and/see in The Witcher 3.
