In light of the heartbreaking death of David Lynch earlier this month, fans are flocking in their millions to pay tribute to the legendary filmmaker.

Now it seems as though tributes are making their way to the gaming sphere, more specifically to Stardew Valley.

Check out the trailer for Stardew Valley below!

If you didn’t already know, David Lynch was responsible for the hit 90s show Twin Peaks (if you didn’t know, now you do so head off and watch it).

Thanks to its gripping storyline and Lynchian surrealism, Twin Peaks has become an iconic television show and is being revisited following the tragic death of its creator.

However, Stardew Valley players can now experience the town of Twin Peaks in the popular farming simulator thanks to this free download.

Created by TariVendice, Stardew Peaks is a brand-new mod for Stardew Valley which adds the mystical town, complete with a classic diner and missing girl, to the game.

“Stardew Peaks is an expansion mod based on the world of Twin Peaks,” the official description reads.

“The aim of this mod is to bring the cozy Americana (and a little bit of the mysterious weirdness) of Twin Peaks to Stardew Valley.”

The mod is still being worked on so you can expect more in the future but for now, Stardew Peaks includes 13 new maps, two shops, four NPCs and lots of forage, fishing, and ore-spawning areas.

With four new exteriors and nine interiors and the beginning of a recycling programme at the Sheriff’s Station, Stardew Peaks is remaining true to the show and we can expect even more.

At the moment, TariVendice is planning on adding three new maps, events, custom assets, more NPCs and full i18n support.

So if you are a fan of Twin Peaks or just want some brand-new content for Stardew Valley, this brand-new mod is not one to miss out on.
