If you’re yet to pick them up, a fresh batch of free games has landed on the Epic Games Store - and this week’s bundle could save you around $30.
You only have a few days to act with these titles only being free until 4pm BST on Thursday 18 June, so you’re advised to claim them sooner rather than later.
As with all giveaways on the Epic Games Store, once the games are claimed, they’re yours to keep.
The only caveat is that you can only play Epic Games Store titles on PC, unless you have a PC adjacent device like the Xbox ROG Ally.
Let’s begin with the newer and more valuable of the two, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks.

This combat racing title landed just last year and typically retails for $19.99.
It is, of course, based within the acclaimed Warhammer 40K universe and sees players drive buggies, tanks, and helicopters in huge Mad Max-style races.
You’ll be able to make use of explosive weaponry across both online and offline play, with additional gear unlocking as you progress.
Players also have the chance to customise their vehicle, plus you can create and enjoy custom maps via the Creation Workshop tool.
The game does have cross-play so while you can only pick up a PC copy here, you can race against your friends who own the title on PlayStation and Xbox.
Over on Steam, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks boasts a player score of 85% which isn’t too shabby at all, correct at the time of writing.
“Genuinely such a fun game, and with cross play coming out, there's more lobbies,” remarked one player, while another added, “This game is the most fun combat racer I've ever played. Absolutely brilliant game types that make the combat so natural and fun.”

If that isn’t quite your cup of tea, you can save $9.99 by claiming The Ouroboros King from the Epic Games Store.
Developed by Oriol Cosp Games, this 2023 roguelike is one for chess fans.

“The Ouroboros King combines the strategic depth of chess with the build variety and replayability of roguelikes,” the synopsis begins.
“Assemble a formidable army, discover powerful relics, and buy surprising gadgets to defeat the Coven.”
Players will “combine classic and new fairy chess pieces” with relics and consumables that grant bonuses in this unique puzzler.
You only have one move per turn and if you are defeated, you can revisit earlier actions to play out the game in a different timeline.
Certainly, The Ouroboros King won’t be for everyone, but it does boast a ‘Very Positive’ rating of 81% on Steam.
“Surprisingly fun, for former chess players,” reads one player review.
And if neither of these games are for you, worry not. The next batch of free titles is set to go live in a few days time on 18 June.
Citizen Sleeper and ROBOBEAT headline the next line-up which is, admittedly, a much stronger offering.
