Gamers can grab yet another free title in July without the need for a subscription service membership, and it’s a pretty good one too.

This deal is coming from the Epic Games Store, which regularly hands out free games every single month, no strings attached.

Unlike Steam, the Epic Games Store offers more AAA games rather than indie titles, though the first game of July is more like the latter.

It’s called The Falconeer, a pretty wild game where you control birds that fire lasers at each other.

The game’s official description reads: “Soar through the skies aboard a majestic warbird, explore a stunning oceanic world and engage in epic aerial dogfights, in this BAFTA nominated air combat game from solo developer, Tomas Sala.”

At its full price it’s only around £15, not bad at all, but if you wait a bit until 4 July it’ll be free to download and keep forever.

As I'm sure you can tell this is only for PC players, those on Xbox and PlayStation are unfortunately out of luck though you can still grab the full game on those systems for a reasonable price if you want to.

You won’t have too long to grab this freebie though, as by 11 July it’ll return to its full price and be swapped out with a different game, though at the time of writing we don’t know what that’ll be just yet.

Nevertheless if The Falconeer looks interesting mark your calendars for 4 July and add it to your library.

Even if it doesn’t look interesting it’s still a free game at the end of the day, so I’d just grab it anyways as who doesn’t love a freebie?
