Elden Ring: Ascended available to play free now, but only for bravest among you

For those of you who relish an almost impossible challenge, then Elden Ring Ascended is for you. Though, once again, we must reiterate that this is an expansion not to be taken lightly because it will test you to your limits.

If, like me, you found Elden Ring already difficult, turn back now and save yourself the pain of having to even consider this mod; as incredible as it is, it’s meant for only the bravest, and some may say foolhardy, amongst you.

Even the modder behind it says as much. “Warning: This mod is extremely hard! If you don't like hard or unfair fights don't play this mod.” And, if you take the time to read the comments on the Elden Ring Ascended NexusMods page, you’ll see that plenty of gamers are commenting about how tough an experience it is.

The only person we feel is capable of defeating this expansion is the streamer who defeated seven FromSoftware games in a row. And even then, they’d struggle.

There are three new modes included within this expansion, which are Age of Stars Mode, Age of Frenzy Mode, and Age of Death Mode. A lot of effort has gone into making this expansion and it shows. Here’s an overview of the changes:
