Cyberpunk: The Final Cut is promising to give players the “definitive version” of Cyberpunk 2077, by taking some inspiration from the original Blade Runner.

CD Projekt RED just announced that the next big content update for Cyberpunk 2077, Update 2.3, has been slightly delayed– but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to get your hands on some new content for the game.

Cyberpunk: The Final Cut is a brand new mod from Nexus Mods user dorkasaurusrex that is promising pretty big things, and based on the gameplay videos they’ve uploaded… it seems like it’s delivered.

The mod description states that it’s adding a whole slew of content to the base game, including “new systems for the player to interact with, such as buying and owning real estate, new places and secrets to find, uncover and explore” and even “new enemies and bosses to fight”.

As dorkasaurusrex notes, the mod is attempting to add “the beauty and wonder of a big city” into Cyberpunk 2077, by altering stuff like enemy AI and gang hideouts.

It seems the real meat of the mod is in the real estate side of things though, although a lot of people will likely be most interested in the changes the mod has made to things like movement speed and dashing.

That being said, dorkasaurusrex also promised that Cyberpunk: The Final Cut adds “hundreds of new cars, character creator cosmetic options (hairstyles, eyes, freckles, skin tones, etc), clothes, guns and areas to explore, as well as things to find, throughout Night City”, so I’m sure there’s gonna be a little something in here for everyone.

However, I will note that this mod is extremely fresh, as it literally only dropped this morning. It’s also over 100gb, so maybe wait for a little bit more feedback from the Nexus Mods commenters before committing to installing it.
