The next official update for Cyberpunk 2077 sounds like it’s gonna be a big one, based on what CD Projekt RED is teasing.
In case you’re not in the know, we’re getting another, final (for real this time) update for Cyberpunk 2077! Whoo!
However, it’s been delayed! Boo! On the plus side, it’s been pushed back because it’s so big that CD Projekt RED needs more time to finish it. Whoo!

As revealed on the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account yesterday afternoon, Update 2.3, which was originally scheduled to drop on June 26, has been delayed due to its “scope”.
“We initially hoped to put Update 2.3 in your hands on June 26,” CD Projekt RED revealed.
“However, we'll need some more time to make sure we're happy with it — we're aiming for a scope similar to Update 2.2. We'll update you further as soon as we can! We appreciate your patience!”
While this might seem like bad news at first, the comparison between the upcoming patch and Update 2.2 is actually pretty big.

Update 2.2 included new customisation options for V, fresh paint jobs for your vehicles, a new photo mode, and even brand new voice lines from Keanu Reeves's Johnny Silverhand. All of this was packaged alongside general bug fixes, too.
That means that we can already confirm at least two things about Update 2.3. Firstly, it’s going to be huge, and secondly… it’s going to feature new content, not just bug fixes.
Thankfully, the community seems to be taking the delay pretty well– although that’s probably because most people assumed that Update 2.2 would be the final content-based update that the game would ever have.
No idea how far back that Update 2.3 may have been pushed, but I’d be surprised if we don’t get it before the end of the month. Unless of course, they’re cooking up something even bigger than Update 2.2…
