A new graphics overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077 has made the game look like a next-gen game. And in some ways, it is.
Released five years ago, Cyberpunk 2077 was the source of many controversies due to its many bugs, design drawbacks, and performance issues.
But one thing we could never deny about it was just how pretty Night City was. Bugs and issues aside, the game was absolutely gorgeous for a game released initially on PS4 and Xbox One.

Even after the next-gen port in 2022, which brought official PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, CD Projekt RED really went all-out to ensure this was one of the most immersive gaming experiences ever.
A graphical overhaul for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 has now made the game look even better. It’s got to a point where I’m having trouble separating it from reality.
Uploaded by YouTube channel Digital Dreams, which specialises in big graphical overhauls for modern games, over 300+ mods have been installed to make the game look as photorealistic as current hardware permits.
This includes running the game at 8K, as well as using various ReShade presets to enhance the colour grading and shaders.

Check the video out for yourself to be amazed.
Don't expect to run this game on your average computer, though. Digital Dreams is running the game on an RTX 4090, and the game is likely pushing the card to the max.
Despite using new and advanced hardware, the game still has some frame drops in certain areas which goes to show just how much the mod changes.

I don’t even know if the PS6 – which Sony has teased for the near future – would be able to handle something on this scale.
However, if Cyberpunk 2077 were to ever get a PS6 (or even an eventual PS7) upgrade, it’d probably look close to this.
