If you’re a fan of RPGs, this brand new one may be a good one for Cyberpunk 2077 fans to keep an eye on.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the best RPGs of this generation, and whenever I’m in the mood to get stuck into a big expansive fictional world, I always find myself turning to Night City.
It’s the kind of game that is proving to be incredibly influential in the video game space, with loads of sci-fi games coming out at the minute which seem to be inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 in some way.
No Law is a brand new open-world RPG from Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and it has all the flavours of Cyberpunk 2077.

Described as a “first-person, story rich, cyber-noire shooter,” No Law is set in the decadent port city of Port Desire. You play as Grey Harker, a former soldier who has turned away from his military life to embrace a life of peace.
However, Harker’s goal may prove to be not as easy as it seems, where despite him no longer looking for trouble, trouble has a way of finding him.
Check out the trailer for No Law below, which is shaping up to look like a great spiritual follow-up for Cyberpunk 2077 fans to play.
How is No Law Inspired by Cyberpunk 2077?
In No Law, Neon Giant wants you to understand that your actions have consequences. Harker’s journey has him meet many different colourful characters, and how you interact with them can affect the wider narrative.
This can mean whether you decide to help those around you, or antagonise them to the point of violence, these kinds of choices leave a mark on Harker’s personal story as well as the wider narrative of Port Desire.

These kinds of open-ended choices also apply to the way you want to play as Harker.
The Steam description reads: "In NO LAW you get to take on the role of Grey Harker, a seasoned veteran of both the battlefield and the city of Port Desire. After receiving near-fatal injuries on his last deployment, Harker decides to finally turn his back on the military life and instead set his sights on a life of peace, once and for all. However, while he no longer goes looking for trouble, one fateful day, trouble finds its way to his front door."
There are multiple ways to approach objectives or build him in the way you want, such as sticking to stealth and hiding in the shadows, or go in guns blazing to kill everyone in the room.
Neon Giant has made a point to say that these choices can dramatically alter the story, so you’ll need to play through No Law several times in order to find alternate paths and new outcomes.
There’s no release date yet for No Law, but the game is already looking pretty polished judging by the trailer. I’d imagine we might get a release date update later on in the year.
