A Cyberpunk 2077 player has shared how to play the epilogue in a secret way that makes it feel like a new experience.
When the free new-gen update was released for Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, it was seen as a time that the highly anticipated sci-fi RPG from CD Projekt RED had truly turned a corner.
Moving away from its very troubled launch on last-gen consoles, Cyberpunk 2077 made big strides to finally become the game it was promised to be before its launch in 2020.
Amazingly, time has flown by since that new-gen update, and following a wealth of additional free content updates, as well as its Phantom Liberty expansion, I think it’s probably fair to say that Cyberpunk 2077 is now one of the best games of its genre.

“I really can’t say enough good things about Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It fills me with joy to be able to report that this is a deeply ambitious expansion that fires on all cylinders and never delivers anything less than a stellar experience,” said GAMINGbible alumni Ewan in his review.

It’s been nearly three years since the release of Phantom Liberty, and perhaps for the most devoted players, they may have experienced everything the expansion has to offer. However, they may not have experienced playing the game this way.
They Asked for a Challenge, and They Got a Challenge
“Does anyone know a mod that simulates Phantom Liberty post-surgery?” asked Redditor jackhenningson. “Like a mod that heavily restricts your physical stats and obviously doesn’t allow you to use Cyberware.”
A fellow Reddit user came up with the answer for the Cyberpunk 2077 player that requires no modding.
“Go to ‘Very Hard’, unequip any Cyberware aside from Kiroshis. No Sandevistan, no Cyberdeck, no NOTHING,” explained YorhaUnit8S.
“As you go, enemies will very quickly start one-shotting you. Enemies with Sandy become legit scary. Cameras are actually a problem now. But mostly what gets you is the complete lack of armour.”
So, there you have it. If you want to experience a new challenge in Night City, follow the steps above. Just be prepared for a struggle, but I’m sure you’ll have fun, right?
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
