Bloodborne PC release update is surprisingly positive

Could this be the sign that a port is coming?

We could all be getting ourselves hyped up yet again because of an update that leads to nothing. But while we still have hope, we will forever dream of a Bloodborne PC release.

Even if you don’t care for FromSoftware’s beloved Bloodborne, you’ll be aware of how much the fandom gets clowned; by themselves and Sony.

We'd weep with joy to see a Bloodborne PC launch trailer

It’s not the only video games community to suffer such public humiliation, but it is one that endures it regularly.

Nevertheless, nobody is ready to give up yet, especially now that a new PC port teaser has fans readying themselves for another circus show.

When PC Gamer sat down to interview FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki, they, like so many other outlets, once again asked what was to become of the classic PS4 title.

Unlike previous attempts which have resulted in a more stoic response, this time Miyazaki was much more candid.

Sat alongside FromSoftware producer Yasuhiro Kitao, and their interpreter Bobby Simpson, Miyazaki said, “I know for a fact these guys want a Bloodborne PC port. If I say I want one, I'll get in trouble as well. But it's nothing I'm opposed to.”

But there was more.

“Obviously, as one of the creators of Bloodborne, my personal, pure honest opinion is I'd love more players to be able to enjoy it [...] So as far as I'm concerned, that's definitely not something I'd be opposed to.”

A positive update for once, but one that doesn’t bring us any closer to our hopes transitioning into tangible reality. Fans have said this for a while now: a port would result in incredibly easy money for Sony.

“Bloodborne is a game that even if it's just a port to PC with no bells and whistles, sold at $70 would still be a successful launch,” Twitter user @Hijabrandhawa1 explained.“People just want it on PC [...] Easy money for these companies.”

All the moving parts are falling into place, so where is this remaster?! We need it in our lives.
