Bloodborne players can now get one of Elden Ring's most standout features in a brand new mod created for bbport.
It's certainly no secret that Bloodborne is one of the best games made by FromSoftware, and certainly one of the best games of all time.
For those who have played through the game dozens, or even hundreds, of times, there's a good opportunity to change up the experience thanks to mods which make changes to the unofficial PC port.
This new mod for Bloodborne brings over Elden Ring's map for use in-game.

Titled Hunter's Atlas, the mod brings over maps from every area in Bloodborne, complete with markers designating your position, the location of lamps and NPCs, as well as doors and ladders. You can also see pickups and other details on the map as well, if you want to.
It's obviously not an essential mod, considering the original Bloodborne worked well enough without a map when we all played it ten years ago. But for those wanting to load up a bunch of mods and get a different experience, this is one worth downloading.
Elden Ring's map was a first for FromSoftware, which had previously opted to not include maps in its games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. A map was technically included in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but we wouldn't say it was particularly useful in navigating it.
But with Elden Ring being the developer's first true open-world game, a map was seen as being pretty necessary to include to help players find their way around. This version included fast travel, icons for NPCs, and other landmarks to help you find your way around.
If you'd like to check out the Hunter's Atlas mod, you can download it from Bloodborne's Nexus Mods page.

Bloodborne's unofficial PC port has been making waves lately
Known as bbport, the unofficial PC port has been an option for many Bloodborne fans to check out the 2015 game on PC for the past few weeks.
It technically runs better than emulating the game using the PS4 emulator ShadPS4, and arguably is a little easier to set up. This version of the game allows you to play the original Bloodborne plus its DLC, at higher resolutions and framerates compared to the PS4 version. There are also mods available which allow you to enhance the original graphics.
With that said, you can only play it if you actually own the original game, so be sure you have the ability to dump your own Bloodborne disc onto your PC for use with bbport. If you'd rather not touch that, the original PS4 version is still an option, which is available to play on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
