Final Fantasy fans preparing for the imminent release of Final Fantasy VII Revelation next year should take advantage of this deal which gets you the first two games in the Remake trilogy for less than $16.
Whether you're a big fan of the Final Fantasy series or have come to it as a newbie, the first two games that make up the Remake trilogy are a good place to start if you want to play one of the modern games.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are great games in their own right, and you'll want to have played them both before you come to play Revelation in April.
Ahead of this, Square Enix has hit us with an incredible deal which knocks down the price of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth down to just $8 each on Nintendo Switch 2, for a total of $16 when bought together.
Advert
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is currently $7.99 / £7.99 on the Nintendo eShop, down from its normal $39.99 / £39.99 price.
The game remakes the first part of the original Final Fantasy VII, covering pretty much the entire introduction with Midgar. In the original game, the Midgar section took around six hours to beat, but remake fleshes this out into a much larger game with plenty more story and content to see. The Intergrade expansion adds Episode Yuffie, which adds the Wutai thief in a new story sequence, along with other additions and changes to the game.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is $7.49 / £7.49 on the Nintendo eShop, down from its usual price of $49.99 / £49.99. It covers the next part of the original Final Fantasy VII, from the point where the group leaves Midgar all the way to the end of Disc 1 where they reach the City of the Ancients.
Both are pretty massive games, so grabbing these deals now ahead of the April release of Final Fantasy VII Revelation next year is definitely recommended. Altogether, you might be expected to invest around 100 to 150 hours on just these two.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is set to conclude the trilogy next year
Final Fantasy VII Revelation, set to release next year, will cover the rest of the plot from Disc 2 and 3 from the original game, and will feature the entirety of Gaia for players to explore using the Highwind airship.
In our hands-on preview of the upcoming sequel at Gamescom, we said that the Highwind is "going to be the highlight of the game", and that we're "looking forward to seeing how the final act of the story is concluded."
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will release on April 8, 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
