Baldur's Gate 3 Free Mod Somehow Improves on Perfection, Download Now

Baldur’s Gate 3 deserved 2023’s Game Of The Year award as it truly is a perfect game, there’s no argument to be made otherwise.

Larian Studios caught lightning in a bottle by perfectly translating the expressive, deep and downright wacky nature of Dungeons & Dragons into a video game format. It was then elevated by masterclass performances from the likes of Neil Newbon, Jennifer English and Samantha Beart. Those are just a few names but the entire cast did a fantastic job and I’d love to have named them all.

Let’s move on though, how do you make a perfect game even more perfect? Is that even possible?

With the Baldur’s Gate 3 Reforged mod it is, as it’ll amplify your game without compromising on what made it great in the first place, and with Baldur’s Gate 3 being so mod-friendly, it’s very easy to install and play around with.

For the short and sweet version of what Reforged does, have a read of the NexusMods description, which says: “This mod is for everyone who enjoys the classic Baldur’s Gate experience but still wants some new toys. I found the balancing in the vanilla game a bit lackluster, as there are some extremely strong & consistent strategies and effects, while some others seem unplayable, whether through a bug or not.”

The mod aims to rebalance the game so more strategies and builds are viable, a solid change that’ll encourage players to try different playstyles.

I’m defined by strength-builds. If a game lets me wear super heavy armour and wield an enormous sword, hammer or axe, there’s a 99% chance that’ll be how I play the game.

While the other builds in Baldur’s Gate 3 looked fun, I found myself slipping into my usual playstyle with the Barbarian class, and putting as many points as I could into things that’d let me hit harder and sustain more damage.

If that sounds like you then this mod is definitely for you, and it’ll allow for greater experimentation without the repercussions of being stuck with a below-average build, and as such less time enjoying the game.
