Top Nintendo eShop Discounts You Shouldn’t Sleep On (And What to Skip)

Incredible savings available now

The Nintendo Switch library is jam-packed with many games worth your time, and many that are not.

Rather than wade through the sea of deals currently flooding the Nintendo eShop as part of the Supercharge Sale, allow us to recommend a few that you really shouldn’t sleep on and a few more you should avoid like the plague (there’s a surprising amount of foot-related games for some reason).

Supercharge Sale is currently U.S only, but for our global gamers - worry not! Sales pop up for these games a fair bit, so it's still worth reading through to see if anything stands out, and bookmarking.

Your Life Will Change

Kicking off with one of the best games ever made, Persona 5 Royal. Like many, this is the game that got me into the Persona series (though not my favourite one, by any means) and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, regardless of your preferred genres.

Persona 5 Royal features an expanded version of the main game but also several DLC packs. These give you cosmetics for your team as well as powerful new Personas to use in battle, some of which break the game if you’re finding it too challenging.

You can pick up Persona 5 Royal for an amazing $17.99, normally $59.99. Or, arguably the second-best Persona game - pick up Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe Edition for $59.49, normally $69.99.

Gotta Go Fast

I wouldn’t be much of a Sonic The Hedgehog fan if I didn’t recommend Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

If Mario Kart World left you wanting a little bit more give SEGA’s latest kart racer a go. It features adjustable speeds to cater to any player’s skill level, a large roster of characters with more on the way via DLC, and the dimension hopping game mechanic keeps every Grand Prix fresh as you never know where you’ll end up next. Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition is $55.99, normally $79.99.

Partnership Perfection

Next we have one of 2025’s best games, Split Fiction. This one will speak to those who’ve played It Takes Two or other couch co-op games.

It’s a celebration of everything the video game industry has achieved over several decades of growth and change. With varied levels, heaps of minigames and a strong message against the use of AI in game development this one is perfect to play with your friend, family member or partner. $37.49, normally $49.99.

Ready, Steady, Clean

The long-awaited sequel to PowerWash Simulator dropped last year bringing players more of what they loved when it came to making dirty stuff clean.

With plenty of new gadgets and gizmos to play with across loads of levels PowerWash Simulator 2 is the type of the game you can stick on for a half hour of five and have a grand old time,

A slightly worse deal than others, but still a weirdly relaxing time - $21.24, normally $24.99.

Link The First Flame...Again

Last but not least, anyone who knows me will have seen this coming, it’s Dark Souls Remastered.

Dark Souls is my favourite game and favourite game series ever made and I get a real kick out of knowing it’s playable on Nintendo Switch. Any Elden Ring player who started their FromSoftware journey with its latest soulslike is doing themselves a disservice if they don’t check out what came before. Plus, The Duskbloods launches later this year as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive so it’d be good to get some practise in. Dark Souls Remastered – $19.99, normally $39.99.

These electric deals last through Jan. 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Check them out!
