Nintendo Switch 2 drops to lowest price ever ahead of Ocarina of Time remake launch
If the upcoming launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on November 5 has left you wanting to finally upgrade to a Nintendo Switch 2, you’re in luck.
The console has dropped to its lowest ever price on Amazon in the UK.
In fact, you can now pick up the Nintendo Switch 2 for cheaper than the console cost at launch, despite it undergoing a price hike back in September.
The Nintendo Switch 2 originally launched for £395.99 but now holds an RRP of £419.99.

Amazon is currently, however, hosting a limited-time discount of 15%, bringing the Nintendo Switch 2 down from £419.99 to £345.99.
This is the standard version of the Nintendo Switch 2, so it doesn’t come bundled with any extra accessories.
It is a worthy upgrade if you are still making use of the original Nintendo Switch; the Nintendo Switch 2 boasts a 7.9-inch (1080p) screen and can support up to 120fps and up to 4K in TV mode.
It plays both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, and includes several new features like mouse controls, GameChat, and a built-in microphone.
This deal doesn’t include any games but it does save you £65 - and you could use that £65 to pick up some complimentary titles.

Widely considered to be a GOTY contender ahead of 2026’s The Game Awards, Resident Evil Requiem is a must-play, reuniting players with the beloved Leon Kennedy and introducing them to new heroine Grace Ashcroft.
This is an older, more rugged take on Leon with Capcom reportedly consulting female members of the development team to optimise Leon’s aesthetic appeal. They did a great job.
