Nintendo Switch just got a mammoth price cut if you somehow still don't have one

Now is the time to pick up a Nintendo Switch

If for whatever reason you’ve decided not to purchase the Nintendo Switch now might be the right time to do so.

Released in 2017, Nintendo’s hybrid console is considered to be one of its favourite machines of all time and that’s saying something considering that the Japanese giant has brought us the likes of the Game Boy, SNES, N64, GameCube and of course, the Virtual Boy.

Check out the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet trailer below!

Since the launch of the Nintendo Switch, we’ve been treated to some amazing games from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its sequel Tears of the Kingdom, not to mention Metroid Dread, Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi’s Mansion 3 to name a few.

Rumours of the Nintendo Switch 2 have been running rampant across social media for years and it finally seems that the next console is on the way following this very Nintendo tease. So with the expected launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 on the way, you can expect some good discounts on the current hybrid machine.

With that in mind, you can not only take advantage of a mammoth Nintendo Switch price cut (if you’re quick) but it also comes in the form of the gorgeous Pokémon Scarlet & Violet OLED Edition. Not only is this one of the best-looking Switch consoles but the OLED model comes with a crisp 7” inch screen (increased from 6.2”) and a boost of internal storage at 64GB from 32GB over the previous model.

The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet OLED Edition is usually sold for the price of $443.45 via US retailer Walmart but is currently available for just $314.99, giving you a total saving of $128.46. We can’t imagine that this offer will be available for long given that this particular console model is likely to sell out soon.

Unfortunately, there is no such alternative offer in the UK at the time of writing for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet OLED Edition but it might be worth keeping a lookout at various retailers, just in case.
