Mario Kart is one of the best spin-off series Nintendo has ever created, possibly even better than Super Smash Bros.
It’s at its peak in its purest form, and now you can take the joy of Mario Kart to your very own car, but do drive responsibly.
Those familiar with the Nintendo Music app will want to hear about its newest update. Rather than just your phone, you can now play it on your laptop, or better yet, inside your car.
Technically, you could already do this if you have an adaptor, as you could just play the music on your phone while having it connected to your vehicle, but now Nintendo Music is officially supported by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

That’s not all though. Mario Kart World tracks have finally been added to the app, meaning you can cruise down the road blaring Rainbow Road and Moo Moo Meadows out of your speakers.
Enjoy your favorite songs from Nintendo games, now on your phone, computer, tablet, or even in the car with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto!

There’s arguably no better gaming soundtrack to listen to whilst driving your car, though don’t get too carried away and remember you’re not actually in a race… We can’t have gamers throwing banana peels out of their windows now, can we?
Unfortunately, only songs from the tracks themselves are available, but Nintendo has confirmed tracks from Mario Kart World’s free roam will also be added in a future update.
Other Nintendo games featured on the app include The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and even 10 tracks from the upcoming Star Fox remake for the Nintendo Switch 2.
You will need a valid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online to access the app though, that’s the only caveat.
The latest Nintendo Music update is hilarious but we know what gamers really want to hear about are some of the new games coming to Nintendo Switch consoles.
Luckily for you, it’s heavily rumoured that a Nintendo Direct is dropping sometime this month, if not this week.
There’s a PlayStation State of Play broadcast taking place 2 June, Summer Game Fest on 5 June and an Xbox showcase on 6 June, meaning if Nintendo has anything it’d like to share this week is the time to do it.
Rumoured titles include a 3D Super Mario platformer (because the Nintendo Switch 2 still doesn’t have one yet) and the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake reveal.
