There are many reasons to praise Hogwarts Legacy, though we find this one the most compelling.

Since its launch in February of last year, many secrets have been discovered while roaming the halls of Hogwarts.

We can't wait for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions!

Even now, well over a year later, there are still plenty of hidden moments waiting to be found in Hogwarts Legacy.

To get you started, our very own Dan Lipscombe has compiled a list of eight things you likely missed.

If you’ve already ticked each item off your to-do list and find yourself wanting more, this hidden setting is worth checking out.

Its benefits aren’t for everyone, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive.

For Harry Potter fans with arachnophobia, this feature will prove a godsend.

The spiders won’t disappear, however, they will take on a far more cartoonish appearance than the menacing eight legged beasts we see in-game.

User Local_Peak_8291 shared this wonderful discovery on Reddit.

“I have arachnophobia to the point I scream when I see a spider. To see that the spiders in Hogwarts Legacy have quad skates as feet was pretty funny and distracted me pretty well from the point that I was fighting spiders.”

We had no idea this setting existed, though we’re grateful we know now.

To turn the mode on, you need to head into the accessibility section of the menu.

From there, scroll down until you find 'Arachnophobia Mode', then toggle it on.

“Arachnophobia mode is my favourite addition to the game!!!” commented Omegatomon_88.

“I got the Switch version (almost day of launch), and when I first the altered spiders I couldn’t stop laughing!! It’s a replica of Ron in Prisoner of Azkaban’s Boggart scene with Professor Lupin. Love it!”

Now that Hogwarts Legacy 2 has been spotted in a job listing, we can't wait to see what other unique features and accessibility settings the developers will come up with.

It’ll be hard to top a roller-skating spider, but we have faith they’ll think of something.
