Hogwarts Legacy fans united over Azkaban DLC

Slap us in handcuffs and take us to Azkaban

There are plenty of aspects of the Harry Potter universe that Hogwarts Legacy gets right, but there’s one blindingly obvious opportunity missing from the game.

In recent days, many Hogwarts Legacy fans feel like the game has been “revived” thanks to its latest update.

Furthermore, there are also the beautiful mods that the Harry Potter community has created to enhance the base game experience.

All in all, fans are satisfied with the Warner Bros. Games title.

That being said, if they had to make one complaint, it’s the lack of an Azkaban DLC.

Depending on your House choice in Hogwarts Legacy, you get a brief chance to visit Azkaban.

Magic, both good and bad, awaits in Hogwarts Legacy

However, it’s far too fleeting a moment that fans think could and should be expanded upon.

“I would love a DLC story expansion with Azkaban as the central plotline,” Dis7urbios shared on r/HarryPotterGame.

“They could introduce Expecto Patronum as a new spell and Dementors as a new type of enemy while having a more 'dark' storyline around Azkaban.”

User everyusernamewashad supports this DLC suggestion, saying, “The little peek inside Azkaban was absolutely horrifying... so yes I agree.”

The likelihood of such a DLC coming, at least for the first game, is minute. However, not all is lost. Fans, as always, are doing the work the devs can’t.

A Hogwarts Legacy Azkaban fan-made expansion completely changes the atmosphere of the game, and is one that you should check out if you can.

It would be wonderful to have other avenues to explore that don’t rely so heavily on PC, but alas, we’re not there yet.

Without the aid of mods, the way to visit Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy is by playing as a Hufflepuff student.

We won’t go into further details lest we spoil it for you, but be sure to try it during your next playthrough.
