Given the sheer size and scale GTA VI is presumably going to have, it’s safe to assume there’ll be lots of room for activities, but fans only care about one of them.

GTA V gave us quite a few to choose from, from tennis, golf, street races and many more, but it was only until Red Dead Redemption 2 that we got the one we actually wanted.

Fishing, gamers want fishing minigames, it’s just a fact of life by this point. I don’t know what it is about a fishing minigame that automatically makes a game good, but I do know fans go wild when one is added.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was the first Rockstar game to add the activity, and according to leaks GTA VI is going to do the same, thank God.

The various leaks surrounding the game have been compiled by fans for a clearer look at what to expect, including some of the pastimes available in game.

Aside from the fishing minigame, golf and races will reportedly be making a comeback, as will an in-game form of gambling, scuba diving and even a few jobs.

Fans are of course excited at the prospect of having more to do than just cruising around blowing stuff up, and made their opinion known in a Reddit thread discussing the leaks.

“If this was aimed at me and my constant whining about wanting fishing in the game, I’m sorry. I’m just very excited lol” said one fan who’s clearly been advocating for the mode for a while now.

Another got more technical, saying “damn, that speargun is gonna make all sorts of RDR2 like shenanigans possible if it's got a line attached to the spear! Fingers crossed!”

Take this news with a small pinch of salt though, at least before Rockstar Games drops another trailer and confirms some of the activities we’ll be getting up to in the game.
